Chloe Taylor Stanley, age 13 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Chloe was born on November 4, 2002 in Floyd County to Donald Isaac Stanley and Angela Beth Hubbard Stanley. She was a member of First Apostolic Church. She was preceded in death by: her great-grandmother, Bessie Silvers Abercrombie; and grandfather, Jim Stanley. Chloe was a sweet funny girl. She enjoyed cheering for Calhoun Middle School and competing on the competition cheer team. She also enjoyed playing soccer for the Calhoun Middle School Soccer team and the Georgia Storm Competition Soccer team. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family that she loved dearly. She loved being outside riding four wheelers and playing in the creek. She also loved animals. She was a ray of sunshine with her smile and her laugh. She was a gift from God. She is survived by: her parents, Don and Angela Stanley of Calhoun; grandparents, Marie Stanley of Calhoun, and Bert and Charlotte Vaughan; aunts and uncles, Melissa Wagner, Patrick and Valerie Mineer, Justin and Jaime Ivey, Deborah Tomlinson, Roger Davis, RL and Shelia Callaway, Kathie Hartley, Stella and Ed Tatum, Shelba Marker, Sue Davis, Diane Silvers, Jordan and Elizabeth Tatum, Buford and Doris Blaylock, Sandy Silvers, Jim Stanley, James Stanley, Shawn Stanley, Joe Johnson, Jerry and Joyce Delong, Gerald and Barbara Stanley, Gary and Marie Stanley, and Don Stanley; and a host of cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, June 12th at 2 PM at Trinity Baptist Church with Reverend Ricky Silvers officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery with RL Callaway, Steven Waters, Roger Davis, Bill Wiseman, Brian Young, and Jim Martin serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Calhoun Class of 2021, Hayden Holsomback, Dustin Tomlinson, Caleb Hartley, Cade Ford, Kyler Wagner, James Stanley III, and Shawn Stanley. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening beginning at 5 PM at Trinity Baptist Church.
