Claudia Bucher

Claudia Bucher, age 69 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 in Gordon Hospital. Claudia was born on July 18, 1944 in Portland Oregon to the late Raymond Sullivan and Grace Pirkle Sullivan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Bucher. Survivors include her daughters, Treena Biddix and her husband Phillip, and Tonya Ray and her husband Paul all of Calhoun; one step-son, Terry Josting of Bossier City, LA; one sister, Vickie Lewis of Plant City, FL; seven grandchildren, David, Desirae, and Allen Biddix, Paul, Stephanie, Tiffany and Alex Ray; five great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, March 20th at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Parham Hammontree and Paul Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Biddix, Alex Ray, Paul Ray, Phillip Biddix, Josh Hill and Desirae Biddix. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 19th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
