Helen Hnilicka

Helen Hnilicka, age 91 of Freehold, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living and Nursing Facility in Calhoun, GA. Helen was the daughter of the late Vertice and Bercha Young of White Lake, North Carolina. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hnilicka. Helen was retired from Burlington Industries in New York City where she was merchandising manager for 39 years. In her spare time she lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel, shop, dance and spend time with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Ralph Wayne Walters of Calhoun; brother, Nolan Young of Liberty, North Carolina; grandchildren, Tim Walters, Laura Toner, Kim Banks, Meleah Landers and Holly Wright; and nine great-grandchildren. A gathering to celebrate Helen’s life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Calhoun, GA on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 2 – 4 PM. All friends and family are welcome.
