Judy Lucille Lowe

Judy Lucille Lowe, age 57 of the Oakman Community, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Gordon Hospital. Judy was born on May 17, 1958 in Gilmer, GA to the late Frank Farris and Celestia Troglin Farris. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was employed by Lacey Mills prior to her retirement. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brother, William “Bill” Farist and Lloyd Farris. She is survived by her husband, Buddy J. Lowe of Oakman; one daughter, Monica Kittle and her husband Shawn of Oakman; one brother, Ronnie Farris of Nickelsville; one sister, Mary Barton of Resaca. Two grandchildren, Savannah Lambert and her husband Austin and Bree Kittle also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday May 1st at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Cheatum and Rev. David Long officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. With Johnny Wyatt, Joe Baldwin, Rex Lowe, Dustin Long and Jerry Jones serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2 until 8pm Saturday evening and on Sunday from 10am until the funeral hour.
