Lynn Black

Lynn Black, age 52 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 at his residence. Lynn was born on June 21, 1961 in Gordon County to the late Ford Black and Nannie Thomas Black. He lived most of his life in Scottsville, and was a loving husband, father, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Black of the residence; two sons, Joshua and Caleb Black both of Cartersville; two brothers, Noel Black of Shannon, and Earl Black of Adairsville; and sister, Sally Patton of Plainville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be conducted on Friday, April 11th at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Gaddis officiating. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the funeral at Thomas Funeral Home.
