Mary Belle Mahn Hedrick

Mary Belle Mahn Hedrick, age 94 of Calhoun, passed away on January 15, 2015 at Gordon Health Care. Mary was born on May 30, 1920 in Rocky Point, North Carolina to the late Willie Mahn and Clara Belle Armstrong. She was a teacher and member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Hedrick; three brothers, Morris Mahn, Richard Mahn, Sr. and Leonard Mahn; two sisters, Vivian Mahn and Sara Mahn; and one daughter, Evelyn Hedrick Swafford. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Starr and her husband Wilfred of Calhoun; son in law, John Swafford of Calhoun; brother, Louis Mahn of Portland, Oregon; two grandchildren, Lynnette Hollenbeck and Lisa Swafford; and two great-grandchildren, Ashley Hollenbeck and Jason Hollenbeck. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 14th at 5 PM from the Calhoun Seventh Day Adventist Church. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the memorial services on Saturday.
