Nancy Hicks Jordon

Nancy Hicks Jordon, age 79 of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Gordon Hospital. Nancy was born on August 23, 1935 in Whitfield County to the late Frank Lee Hicks and Anne Hunt Hicks. Nancy was a member of the Calhoun First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard David Jordon and step-mother, Bertha Hicks. Survivors include three sons, Joey and Dondra Jordon, David and Amy Jordon and Eric and Rhonda Jordon; two daughters, Leisa and Brownie McEntyre and Julie and Kim Brummitt; eight grandchildren, Will McEntyre, Jennifer Brummitt, Jackson Jordon, Annsley Jordon, Ben Jordon, Caleb Jordon, Davis Jordon and Griffin Jordon; three great-grandchildren, Drew McEntyre, Greyson McEntyre and Merritt Ward; and several cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 30th at 3 PM from the Calhoun First United Methodist Church with Reverend Eddie Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday beginning at 2 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made the Alzheimer’s Association at P.O.
