Nick J. Crutcher, age 58 of the Miller Ferry Road Community, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at his residence. Nick was born, August 28, 1957 in Dallas, Texas, a son of the late N.D. Crutcher and Joann Gilbert Crutcher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Crutcher. He was formerly employed by Nucor Building Systems as building engineer. He was an alumnus of the I.T.T. Technical University with highest honors. Nick was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas and locally attended Union Grove Baptist Church. Nick was known as an upstanding personality, a Godly man who loved his family. Nick is survived by his wife, Ginger Nicole Crutcher of Calhoun; one daughter, Georgiana Grace Crutcher of Calhoun; mother in law, Georgi Meadows and her husband, Varner Meadows both of Calhoun; two brothers, Jay D. Crutcher and his wife Michele of Dallas, Texas and Van Nystel of Dallas, Texas; brother in law, Tim Hall and his wife, Keeva of Calhoun; brother in law, Jason Meadows and his wife, Kristy of Calhoun; sister in law Debbie Thomas and her husband, Dennis of Calhoun; one sister, Sabrena Henagor and her husband Arthur, of Dallas, Texas; special friend, Charlie Nystel of Tyler, Texas; a special niece, Ally Crutcher; and additional nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted on Thursday, June 23rd at 11 AM at Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Michele Roby officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 AM until the funeral hour at 11 AM.
