Pat Balliew Richards

Pat Richards, age 68 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Gordon Hospital. She was born on March 31, 1946 in Gordon County, daughter of the late Carl Walker Balliew and Evelyn Amos Balliew. Also, she was preceded in death by her son, Chris Richards, March 19, 2011. She was a lifetime resident of Gordon County, and was a member of the Agape Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Butch Richards of Calhoun; daughter in law, Rosann Richards of Calhoun; a grandson, Chris Richards of Calhoun; one sister, Linda Rogers of Cartersville; two nieces Terry and Donna Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 29 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverends Wayne Neil, Eric Bohannon and Winford Casey officiating. Eric Bohannon will have charge of music. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 28 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Gordon County Sheriff’s Auxiliary.
