Penny Burch

Penny Burch, age 86 of Madison, GA, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Social Circle Heath & Rehab Center. Penny was born on June 6, 1928 in Rossville, GA to the late P.K. Pennington and Mattie Lou Ayer. Penny was a member of the Blackwood Springs Baptist Church and was retired from Lockheed Aircraft. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Burch; and sister, Catherine Prince She is survived by her son, Steve Burch and his wife Emma of Buckhead; daughter, Sunny Burch of Savannah, GA; and niece, Mitzi Hensley of Fort Walton Beach, FL. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, April 19th at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the funeral on Sunday. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Blewer Food Bank at 373 Morrow Rd SE, Calhoun, GA 30701.
