Randy Harold Sloan

Randy Harold Sloan, age 60 of Resaca, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at his sister’s residence in Dalton. He was born on May 13, 1954 in Whitfield County, GA to Melba Gazaway Sloan and the late Reed Harold Sloan. He was a member of the Resaca Church of Christ. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Andy and Tommie Gazaway and Sygman and Ray Sloan. He is survived by his mother, Melba Gazaway Sloan of Resaca; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Patty Sloan; sister, Gayle Bramlett and sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Frank Brown; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on March 18th at 3:00PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Minister Jule Medders officiating. Interment will follow in the Resaca Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Don Bradford, Mike Bramlett, Thomas “Cha” Keene, Steve Langford, Tony Shuler and Eric Shuler.
