Sharon Wolf

Sharon Venable Wolf, age 76, of Adairsville passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her residence following several months of declining health. She was born January 28, 1938, daughter of the late Walton Frank and Evelyn Dempsey Venable. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon E. Wolf. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Cyndi Brown of Sugar Valley, and Randy Brown and Susan Mosley of Adairsville; and one sister, Jan Venable Dunn of Adairsville. Numerous special cousins and close friends also survive. Visitation will be held Friday, November 14, from 6-8 pm at Thomas Funeral Home in Calhoun. Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 15 at 2:00 PM at the Farmville United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Guy Kent officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Dempsey, Doug Dempsey, Donald Dempsey, Robert Davis, Dickie Childs and Bobby Childs.
