Susan Garrett Magnicheri

Susan Garrett Magnicheri, age 56 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 at her residence. Susan was born on June 20, 1958 in Floyd County to Doris Pruitt Garrett and the late Sidney Roger “Danny” Garrett. Susan was a member of the Calhoun First Methodist Church and worked for the Gordon County Tax Assessor’s office. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Russell and Mr. and Mrs. Howell Tuggle. She is survived by her mother, Doris Garrett of Rome; son, Sam Magnicheri of Calhoun; three daughters, Kristin Stanley and her husband Allen of Calhoun, Haylee Fowler and her husband Austin of Villa Rica and Hannah Magnicheri of Calhoun; sister, Patti Bowling and her husband Bill of Rome; four grandchildren, Gage, Braden, Preston and Ashlyn; two nephews, Garrett Bowling and Sean Bowling; niece, Shellie Bowling; best friend, Sharon Leberman; and special friend, Laura Leberman. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 20th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Bob Hoffman officiating. Donna Looney and "Heart and Soul" will have charge of the music. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Bowling, Garrett Bowling, Sean Bowling, Alan Stanley, Austin Fowler and Todd West. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Gordon County Tax Assessor’s Office.
