Thomas M. Eilerman

Thomas M. Eilerman of Calhoun, Georgia passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2015. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 17, 1947 to Elaine C. Kittrell and Richard Eilerman and grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. In his youth he was very involved in the Boy Scouts earning an Eagle Scout. He graduated in 1965 from Huntsville High School where he was President of the Student Council. He attended North Carolina State and graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Political Science. Tom (Listy) was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity serving as the president of his pledge class. He worked in the food service/supply industry as a District Sales Manager working for Halsey Grocery Company, PYA Foods, Sarah Lee, and US Foods and was recognized many times as the top Sales Manager. Tom was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and Chairman of Finance. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, Richard Eilerman, and Step-father, John Kittrell. He is survived by his wife, Sondra Hanna; Mother, Elaine Kittrell of Huntsville, AL; son, Will Eilerman (Roxanne) of Canton, GA, granddaughter, Kaitlin Eilerman; sister, Lynda Senkbeil (Carl) of Huntsville, AL; brother, David Eilerman (Rebecca) of Lacey Springs, AL; aunt, Nancy Hartzell of Centerville, OH, Niece, Lara Craig (Chris) of Mt. Juliet, TN; great nephew, Bryce Craig; and step chil-dren, Denise Henderson and Rich Attalla of Akron, OH. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Calhoun at 12:00 PM EST on Saturday, February 28, 2015. During the service a White Rose Ceremony will be conducted by the Brothers of Sigma Chi. Arrangements are being handled by Thomas Funeral Home of Calhoun. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 829 Red Bud Road, Calhoun, GA 30701
