William Mack England

William Mack England, age 92 of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 in Gordon Health Care. Mack was born on September 11, 1921 in Gordon County\, a son of the late John Mack England and Cora Hensley England. He was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church and formerly worked for Lockheed Aircraft. He served in the United States Army and was a WWII Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Gallman England. He is survived by his two daughters, Joyce Carol England of Tennessee and Judy England Howe and her husband David of Florida; two brothers, James O. England and his wife Annelle, and Carl England. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, September 1st at 10am from the Philadelphia Baptist Church with the Reverend Tim McCulley officiating. Jackie and Mike McDaniel will have charge of music, and burial will follow in Pine Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 2:00 until 6:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Home.
