William Henry "Bill" Lovvorn

William Henry “Bill” Lovvorn, Jr., 62, of Asbury Park, NJ, formerly of Albany, GA, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at home. Bill was born in Calhoun, GA the son of the late William H. Lovvorn Sr. and Marjorie Dobbs Lovvorn. After graduating high school, he attended Georgia State University and graduated from the University of Central Florida where he was President of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Bill was Vice President of Sales & Marketing for DSW Homes in Brick, NJ, rebuilding homes and lives affected by Hurricane Sandy. He was an avid golfer and loved to play guitar. Bill is survived by his wife Paige Lovvorn, his mother, Marjorie Dobbs Lovvorn of Calhoun, GA, mother of his children, Marva Lovvorn of Flowery Branch, GA, his son, Neal Lovvorn of Flowery Branch, GA, his daughters, Mackenzie Clotworthy and her husband Ricky of League City, TX, and Tracy Pierson and her husband Dave of Leavenworth, KS, and 4 grandchildren, Lily, Tyler, Christopher and Dillon. He is also survived by his sister, Robin Willis and her husband Jim of Lyman, SC, his uncle Merrill Dobbs of Calhoun, GA his aunt Sandra Lovvorn Gowing of Carrollton, GA, his uncle Bob Lovvorn and his wife Elaine of Greensboro, NC, and several nieces & nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2pm in the sanctuary at First United Methodist Church, 307 Flint Ave., Albany, GA.
