Amelia Pina Ruiz

Amelia Pina Ruiz, age 78 of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Floyd Medical Center. Amelia was born on April 1, 1938 in Mexico to the late Jose Pina Ramirez and Consuelo Ruiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo Monroy Ramirez. She was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Irma Pina; brothers and sisters, Jose Pina, Teresa Pina, Silvia Pina, Estela Pina, Valdemar Pina and Rebecca Pina. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 6th at 4 PM at Thomas Funeral Home with Father Tim Nadolski officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 5th from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
