Carolyn Griffith Kinsey

Carolyn Griffith Kinsey, age 80, of the Sugar Valley Community, passed away Saturday morning May 2Oth in Quinten Memorial Health Care in Dalton. Carolyn was born March 6, 1937 in Gordon County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Clint Griffith. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Shaw Industries. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Frank Kinsey, a son; Robert Keith Kinsey and a sister; Betty Chitwood. She is survived by her three sons; Rick Kinsey, Terry Kinsey, and Ronald Kinsey, one sister; Linda Bailey. Two grandchildren; April Charles and Lee Curtis, one great-grandchild; Ryelin McGuire also survives. The family will receive friends Sunday evening May 21st from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home. A private burial will be conducted at a later date.
