Gale Connell

Gale Connell, age 57, of Plainville, passed away Sunday March 16th at his residence. Gale was born in Floyd County on July 13, 1956, son of the late George Buford Connell and Charlcie Grace Miller Connell; he was a member of the Plainville United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Calhoun High School class of 1974. Survivors include one son, Michael Connell of Calhoun, two daughters, Christy Connell of Atlanta and Carla Ivester of Rome, one brother, Greg Connell of Plainville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Friday March 21st at 1pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
