The greatest role model anyone could ask for. Being raised by a grandfather is very unique. I had a little more leniency than my aunts and uncles but not much. I loved my granddaddy with all my heart and did everything I could to make him proud of me. If I can be half the man he was I will be in good shape. He taught me many of lifes lessons, taught me how to be respectful, humble and God fearing. Without him and grandmother I wouldnt be where I am today. It was a bittersweet moment when you left this world but I know the last breath you took on this earth was your first breath in eternity with grandmother. You will be greatly missed, but I will see you again. Love, Brandon

Brandon, I am so sorry for your loss. I thought the world of your Grandfather. There was not a finer man around. He always brought a smile to my face. I know he is happy with his reunion of Ms Evelyn. My thoughts and prayers are with you, he loved you so. Kathy Bunch

Muril was the most wonderful neighbor I could have ever ask for! I will miss him dearly! We often had a talk over my chain link fence or he would ride over on his lawn mover. I always looked forward to his visits, our talks and of course he would always have a quote from the bible to share with me. He loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a Godly man proud to share the Lord with you.... His heart was broken when he lost his beautiful wife Evelyn. I know he loved her with all his heart & she did him! My favorite story of his was the day he asked Evelyn to marry him. He told her he thought they should be married. He told her if she wanted to marry him to be ready that Friday. I can still hear him laugh and say...She was ready to go get married!!!! He thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world and she was...All 3 of us used to sit on their back porch and have a visit. Always good company - he & Evelyn. He loved his children too.... I could always count on my garden buddy. My friend and neighbor. We had a garden together one year & I believe it was one of the best in the neighborhood. He laid out the rows just perfectly...I will miss those days. He came over one day to supervise me using his tiller. I nearly dug my flowerbed to China...while Muril was chuckling in his chair!!! We had a good laugh on my tilling skills or lack of!!! We kept a check on each other. I knew he would always open his blinds early. After all of his years working - he was still an early riser. Early to bed...Early to rise makes a man wealthy and wise. You were a kind Godly man. I will miss you friend of mine... You were a perfect example of a Christian man. You were wealthy in your love of the Lord...You were wise to share the bible with me...Go rest high...Walk with your beautiful Evelyn...We loved you neighbor...We shall miss you...Prayers for your loved ones... Sincerely, Your neighbors across the street Randy & Marissa Williams
