Kenneth Charles Thomason

Kenneth Charles Thomason, age 61, of Calhoun, passed away Monday morning March 18th in Gordon Hospital. Kenneth was born November 5, 1957 in Gordon County. Son of the late Gordon Lee Thomason and Kindness Tate Thomason. He was a faithful member of Concord Baptist Church of Fairmount and was employed by Georgia Northwestern Technical College. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Freida Brown Thomason. Survivors include his son; Jason Thomason and his wife Sydney, two daughters; Elizabeth Patterson and her husband Chris and Rachel Thomason Hoyle. One sister; Brenda Norrell and nine grandchildren; Garrett, Jadon, Nathan, Landon, Madilyn, Kailyn, Mallory, Paisley, and Emily Kate also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday March 20th at 2pm from the Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Sutherland, Rev. Sammy Allen and Rev. Isaac Johns officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving include; Todd Norrell, Brandon Brown, Bradley Brown, Chris Patterson, Jason Thomason, and David Brown. Bradley Scott will serve as honorary escort. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 4 until 8pm at the church.
