Leah Ann Shepherd

Leah Ann Shepherd, age 57 of Calhoun died Saturday, January 19 at her residence after a period of illness. She was born, July 6, 1961 in Brandon, Florida, a daughter of Bess Ann Purvis Lynch and the late Oliver Wayne Reeves. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved photography. She was a member of the Sugar Valley Baptist Church. Leah Ann is survived by her husband, Garry Shepherd, mother, Ann Purvis Reeves Lynch; two sons, Garry V. Shepherd, Jr, and his wife Lola and Dustin R. Shepherd; one daughter, Scarlet Ann Shepherd and her finance’, Shade Moore; two brothers, Brian Reeves and Johnny Reeves; five grandchildren, Kaiman, Kaiden, and Shie Smith, Brennan and Coraline Shepherd. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 22 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Roy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Adam Parker, Josh Cohen, Dylan Cochran, Jamie Burns, Charles Gray, and Isaac Logan. They are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:45 AM Tuesday. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of arrangements for the services of Leah Ann Shepherd of Calhoun.
