Linda Sue Hogue

Linda Sue Hogue, age 69, of Resaca, passed away Sunday morning January 29th at Gordon Hospital. Linda was born in Lafayette, Georgia, March 12, 1947, daughter of the late Lloyd C Williams and Louise Fowler Williams. She was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Shannon. She was preceded in death by her son, Seth David Keith Kirby She is survived by her daughter; Duffy Maddox and her husband Joe, three sons; Brent Davis and his wife Beverly, Marty Kirby and his finance Sandy Patterson, and Cord Hogue and his wife Chasity, eleven grandchildren; La`Sha Proper, Gage Kirby, Nicole Davis Bogue, Zach Kirby, Colin Hogue, Clayton Hogue, Caleb Hogue, Katelin Maddox, Joseph Maddox Jr., Ashlie Franklin, and Felicia Franklin, seven great-grandchildren; Ally Mae Proper, Boyd Proper, Rhyland Kirby, Kinley Kirby, Zaileigh Maddox, Isabella Bogue and Landon Bogue. Four sisters; Roxie Alexander and her husband Danny, Pat Scoggins and her husband Larry, Barbara Price and her husband Benny and Caroline Tucker and her husband Dale also survives. Funeral services will be conducted Monday January 30th at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Subligna Cemetery with Rev. Larry Scoggins in charge of graveside rites. Pallbearers serving will include; Richard Cord Hogue, Gage Kirby, Zach Kirby, Clayton Hogue, Colin Hogue, Joseph Maddox Jr. and Caleb Maddox. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Fowler and Steven Proper. Family will receive friends from 12 until 2pm prior to the funeral.
