Lois Nell Stone Gray

Lois Nell Stone Gray, age 90 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at her residence. Lois was born on February 4, 1930 in Gordon County, GA, daughter of the late Herman Peace and Laura Rickett Peace. In addition to her parents, Lois was also preceded in death by: her first husband, Herman Stone; second husband, Ralph Gray; sisters, Lucille Sullivan and Inez Edwards; and brothers-in-law, Sam Rogers and Charles Sullivan. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement, Lois worked as a retail sales associate for Keene’s. Lois is survived by: her son, Mike Stone; grandchildren, Jon Stone, Laura Beth Bunch and her husband Seth; great-grandchildren, Layla Mae Bunch and Millie Bunch; sister, Shirley Rogers; brother-in-law, Jerry Edwards; nephew, Mark Edwards; nieces, Lisa Smith, Pam Sparkman, Shelia Barbee, and Stacey Smith; step-children, Donna Talley and Sharon Gray; and step-grandchildren, Ryan Talley and Justin Talley. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Hibberts and Reverend Lamar Bearden officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given he Antioch Baptist Church Life Christian Center. Pallbearers serving are: Seth Bunch, Mark Edwards, Ricky Smith, David Smith, and Jon Stone.
