My dear Aunt Rebecca will always remain in my thoughts as a loving, kind, and vibrant lady. She and my Dad, Malcolm, are number 9 and 10, respectively, out of 11 children of my grandparents, Mama Lucy and Papa Leonard. Growing up on a small farm in Swansonville, Pittsylvania County, Virginia, they came from very humble beginnings where love of God and family was the highest aspiration. This legacy remains alive in our family today and I am so grateful and so blessed to be a part of it. Aunt Rebecca and Dad have always been very close. She and Dad always shared a wonderful humor together and enjoyed being together so much. I recall my Dad stating on many occasions that Rebecca has the heart and kind, gentle spirit of my grandmother, Mama Lucy. I am so grateful that my loving Uncle William was always at her side through sickness and in health. May your rest with our Lord be blissful, dear Rebecca. We will love you and miss you always. Your loving nephew, Ronald

Becky was such a Joy to know. I worked with her at Horizon and she always had a kind word and a smile that would light up the room. Always gave good advice on cooking tips. She will be missed so much. Rest In Peace sweet Lady! I know that you are walking on streets of gold with your daughter and other familly members.

Becky has been a friend of mine since 1983 we began working together at Horizon which later changed to Mohawk. She was always a loving, caring person to everyone she met. I am thankful for the years I had with her. I would not want her to come back to this life because I know she has an Eternal life in heaven and she is with the daughter she loved so much also sisters and other family members. I loved her like a second mom. RIP my sweet friend.
