A Golden Heart stopped beating Tuesday, May 28, 2019 when Ricky Eugene Liller, 64, of Frederick, Maryland and Calhoun, Georgia loss his courageous battle with cancer. Rick was born on December 16, 1954 in Frederick Maryland, he is survived by his Mother in Maryland and he was preceded in death by his Father December 14, 2016. He was a 1972 Graduate of Frederick High School. Growing up on a farm made him a jack of all trades. Prior to his illness, he was employed by Quality Integrated Services as a pipeline inspector. Rick was a hard worker, who loved being productive. Whether farming, at his home, his grandfathers, or on the pipeline. Rick always did his best job, worked as hard as he could, and never cut corners and that was true all through his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and dancing. While living in Calhoun he was well known for his enthusiasm for dancing. Rick enjoyed the camaraderie sharing those experiences brought him. He loved his fiancée, his children, grandson, family and he loved people and it was a fantastic day if he made you smile, laugh, or made your day better. That was his goal and was truly how he lived every day. He is survived by his son, Ricky E. Liller, Jr.; his daughter,Stephanie Liller and partner Shane Study; his very special grandson, Aiden Embrey; his fiancée, the love of his life, Debbie Callahan Thompson and her granddaughter, Jaliee, whom he love like she was his own granddaughter. Many more family members survive him in Maryland, Tennessee, Florida, and known to his Georgia family and friends known as Cowboy he had grown to love and that loved him. A celebration of Rick's life was held in Maryland on Sunday, June 2, 2019. This is a courtesy announcement by Thomas Funeral Home.
