Tecumseh Bear Murphy

Tecumseh Bear Murphy, age 18 of Resaca and formerly Silver City, New Mexico passed away Saturday December 3, 2016 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Tecumseh was born March 16, 1998 in Ripley, WV to Wayne E. Murphy and Sarah Ward. He was a member of the New Mexico National Guard. Tecumseh was recently baptized and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne E. Murphy. He is survived by his mother, Sarah Rodger; grandmother, Jean Jensen of Wisconsin; two brothers, Joseph Ferguson and Dustin Ferguson of Adairsville; and his uncle, Randy Murphy from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Memorial Services will be held at a later date with Reverend Roger Fisher officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 22nd at 6 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Fisher officiating.
