Tommy Curtis

Tommy Curtis, age 68 of Calhoun, passed away on March 19, 2020 at AdventHealth Gordon. Tommy was born on March 29, 1951 to the late Thomas Newton Curtis and Polly Tate Curtis. He was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church. He served in the Headquarter Company 1st Battalion, 108th Armor, Georgia National Guard. Tommy spent his later years as a Human Resource Consultant for various companies. He is survived by his wife, June White Curtis; two sons, Boone Curtis (Tina) of Cincinnati, Sam Curtis of Calhoun; daughter, Jayne Maupin (John) of Cleveland, TN; brother, Cale Curtis (Robin) of Calhoun; sister, Lynn Rutledge (C.L.) of Calhoun; grandchildren, Audrey Grace Curtis, and Ruby June Curtis, Addison Jane Maupin, Jackson Thomas Maupin, and Anniston June Maupin. Due to the recent concerns over Covid-19 the family will have a private ceremony with Dr. Bert Vaughn and Dr. John Barber officiating. Interment will be held at Chandler Cemetery. A public memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
