Travis Major Goble

Travis Major Goble, age 81 of Maryville, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 after a brief illness. He was formerly of Panama City Beach, FL, Marietta, GA and Calhoun, GA. Travis was a retiree of Roadway Express and was a Navy Veteran. His greatest joy in life was being a Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He was affectionately known as Papa. He is preceded in death by his wife Roberta Hackney Goble, parents Wallace (Red) and Irene Mealor Goble, brother Trammel l Goble, and sister Jerrie Goble. He is survived by his daughter Kathy Jones and partner Gary Whiten; son Steve Goble; daughter-in-law Teresa Goble; Grandchildren Brad Smith and his wife Angie, Stephanie Goble, Brittany Rockwell and her husband Sam; great grandchildren Conner Goble, James Smith, Eliza Smith and Lillee Mae Cochran; brother Johnny Goble and his wife Joan; sister Melinda Goble; sisters-in-law Jane Casey, Joy Hardin, and Barbara Hackney as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
