How do I describe my Mother. Nothing short of an angel to me. My friend that I could always talk to about anything. She always taught me to rise above any conflict that came my way. I really tried but sometimes being a Whitener was hard. My Mother was the best. Mother ever. So many fun and sad times with her. We had a wonderful life together and I am so honored to be Victoria Evelyn Whiteners daughter. Until I see you again Mom I ask you once again to guide me through the rest of my days. I love you so much.

Ms. Evelyn was a godly lady who loved her church and her family. She was always an encourager to me and I am grateful for the opportunity to have known such a dear saint. Thanks to Scott and Jackie for your tender care of Ms. Evelyn in her illness. You both are examples of how children are to respect and care for their parents. We all love Muril at church and will do our best to love and care for him as Ms. Evelyn would want us to do.

We were so blessed to be a part of the family when Scott and Jackie got married. She welcomed us in with open arms her own grandchildren. We have fond memories of big Thanksgiving dinners with her heavenly banana pudding. We are thankful for the opportunities we had to sit next to her in church on special occasions and even ordinary days. She was always willing to pose for a photo and also sit and chat. She was a good listener and very patient. We will miss her greatly. What a joy to know she us in Heaven with her Lord and Savior and we will see her someday!
