Angelica Otilia Gonzalez

Angelica Otilia Gonzalez, age 79 of Calhoun, passed away at her residence, Thursday, November 23^rd surrounded by her loving family.

Angelica was born on April 19, 1944 is Costa Rica to the late Juan Gonzalez and Rosa Sanabria. She was a faithful member of St. Clements Catholic Church, she loved her family more than anything. Angelica was employed by Shaw for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Larry Steven Gonzalez; siblings, Cecilia Gonzalez Sevilla, Teresa Gonzalez Sanchez, Carlos Gonzalez, and Claudio Gonzalez.

She is survived by her daughter, Marie R. Funes and her husband Jose; companion, Efrain Zamora Guzman; grandchildren, Krystal Funes, Geanna Funes, Vivianne Funes, Isabella Funes, Larry Gonzalez, Jr., and Ian Gonzalez; siblings, Gerardo Gonzalez, Mireya Calvo, and Jorge Gonzalez.

Funeral Mass will be conducted on Monday, November 27^th at 10 AM from St. Clements Catholic Church with Father Carlos Ortega officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 26^th from 5 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Angélica Otilia González, de 79 años de Calhoun, falleció en su residencia el jueves 23 de noviembre rodeada de su querida familia.

Angélica nació el 19 de abril de 1944 en Costa Rica, hija del fallecido Juan Gonzalez y Rosa Sanabria. Era un miembro fiel de la Iglesia Católica St. Clements y amaba a su familia más que a nada. Angélica fue empleada de Shaw durante muchos años. Además de sus padres, le precedieron en la muerte su hijo, Larry Steven González; hermanos, Cecilia González Sevilla, Teresa González Sánchez, Carlos González y Claudio González.

Le sobreviven su hija, Marie R. Funes y su esposo José; compañero, Efraín Zamora Guzmán; nietos, Krystal Funes, Geanna Funes, Vivianne Funes, Isabella Funes, Larry González, Jr. e Ian González; hermanos, Gerardo González, Mireya Calvo y Jorge González.

La misa de funeral se llevará a cabo el lunes 27 de noviembre a las 10 a. m. desde la iglesia católica St. Clements y oficiará el padre Carlos Ortega. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio de Fain.

La familia recibirá amigos el domingo 26 de noviembre de 5 p. m. a 7 p. m. en Thomas Funeral Home.
