Sunday, September 10, 2006 Mrs. Anne Marie Teasley Rabb, age 79 of Calhoun died Sunday, September 10 at her residence. To all who knew ad loved her, she was better known as just “Ree”. Her vivid and dramatic stories along with her smile and laughter would permeate the room. She was truly a fun loving, caring, and unique personality whose energy was contagious. Ree’s life was enormously blessed with a devoted family and an abundance of loving and loyal friends whom she treasured to the end. Ree was born, July 16, 1927 in Canton, Georgia to John Robert Teasley and Bertha Marie Archer Teasley. She married Dr. James Leroy Rabb on December 29, 1947 in Atlanta, Ga. Ree was a graduate of the University of Georgia and worked in Atlanta for two years as an elementary school teacher. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Contract Bridge Association where she earned her Silver Life Master. Ree was also an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Calhoun. She was preceded in death by her son, Lance Wesley Rabb; her parents, John Robert and Bertha Marie Archer Teasley; brother, John Isham Teasley; and sister, Katherine Teasley Lovett. She is survived by her husband Dr. James Leroy Rabb; daughter, Cameron Rabb Clark and her husband Gerald; daughter in law, Denise Hill Rabb; grandsons, Spencer Lance Rabb and Russell James Clark; brother, William A. Teasley and his wife Sylvia; sister Betty Teasley Jollay and her husband Lloyd; sister in law, Caroline Rabb Madison; 5 nieces; 7 nephews, and her toy poodle, “Charlie”. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Calhoun on Wednesday, September 13 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Ken Waddell officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Calhoun Building Fund, PO Box 453, Calhoun, GA. 30703. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of arrangements for the services of Mrs. Anne Marie Teasley “Ree” Rabb.
