Annie Idell Haley

Annie Idell Haley, age 91, of Dalton and former of Plainville, passed away Friday October 2nd at AdventHealth Gordon. Annie was born January 25, 1929 in Plainville, daughter of the late Milton Andrew Brown and Pearl Gravitt Brown. She was a member of the Hill City Baptist Church and was employed by Liberty Carpet prior to retirement. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Haley, a son, Mike Haley, one sister, Mary Etta Edgeman, six brothers, Minor, Alferd, Joe, C.L., Harlin and Roy Brown. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Nancy Haley of Rocky Face and a sister-in-law, Laura Haley. Funeral services will be conducted Monday October 5th at 1pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill City Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 until 5pm at the funeral home.
