Annie Mae Hill Hendrix, age 67, of Ranger, passed away Wednesday August 4th in AdventHealth Gordon.


Annie was born January 30, 1954, in the District of Columbia, daughter of the late Charles Dennis Hill and Mary Louise Farmer Hill. She was a member of the 1st Apostolic Ministry Church and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by the father who raised her, Clyde Craig and a brother Larry Hill.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon Hendrix; three daughters, Darlene Stewart and her husband Cirilo Perez, Tonya Parker and her husband Barry, and Reginia Gilbert and her husband Jimmy; one sister Wanda Scott; two brothers, Lee Hill and Charles Hill. Five grandchildren, Matthew Stewart, Michael Stewart, Caleb Parker, Camille Parker, and Cooper Gilbert also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday August 6th at 3pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Silvers and Bro. Floyd Tenney officiating. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Memorial Garden with Bro. David Curtis in charge of graveside rites.

Pallbearers serving will include Brian Young, Jim Martin, Henry Cox, Reggie Hendrix, Scotty Moore, and Michael Gwin.

The family will receive friends tonight (Thursday) from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.
