Benny Olin Cole

Benny Olin Cole, age 80 of Adairsville, passed away on Saturday, September 11th at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Benny was born on April 16, 1941, in Bartow County, Georgia to the late Renis Cole and Gladys Cole. He spent his lifetime as a carpenter Benny was an avid western movie watcher, loved gardening, tinkering with old cars, and loved cats. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Lynn Cole; sister Aileen Blalock.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Shawn Cole and his wife Tara; their children, Alley, Molly, Trey, Rhett, and Ryan; Timothy Cole and his wife Delisha, and their five children; brothers, Ronnie Cole, Doyle Cole, Donnie Cole, and Lloyd Cole.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, September 16th at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Stephen Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are as follows: Trey Burgess, Rhett Burgess, Ryan Burgess, Lance Carroll, Brian Cole, and Josh Cline.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 15th at Thomas Funeral Home from 5 PM until 7PM.
