Betsy Anne Higginbotham, age 74, of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at her residence.
Betsy was born on August 29, 1951, in Waukegan, IL, daughter of the late Byron Raymond Criswell and Suzanne Parrish Criswell. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Jordan Higginbotham. Betsy had a deep love for flowers, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Ray Higginbotham; her daughter, Julie Anne Jones, and her husband, Elliott; and her two cherished grandchildren, Caroline Jones and Tucker Jones.
A private celebration of life will be held for family and close friends to honor Betsy’s memory.
