Billy Ray Owens

Billy Ray Owens, age 84 of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at his residence. Billy was born on June 24, 1936 in Gordon County, GA, son of the late James Houston Owens and Mattie Lee Hammontree Owens. In addition to his parents, Billy was also preceded in death by: a son-in-law, David D. Bagley; two brothers, J.L. Owens and Paul Owens; and two sisters, Opal Puckett and Erma Puckett. Billy is survived by: his wife, Imogene Bell Owens; son, Danny Ray Owens and his wife Verna; two daughters, Joy Elaine Owens West and her husband Terry and Cindy Theresa Owens Bagley; sister, Sara Lowery; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services to celebrate the Life of Billy Ray Owens will be conducted Sunday November 29th at 3PM from the graveside at Hopewell Cemetery with Rev. Mark Owens Officiating.
