Brenda Sue Rogers

Brenda Sue Rogers, age 66, of Ranger passed away on Friday, February 19th at her residence. Brenda was born on June 20, 1954 in Bartow County to the late Thomas Massey, Jr., and Lillian Ruth Fowler Massey. Brenda was a lifetime resident of Gordon County and a member of Relevate Church in Ranger. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her in-laws, Randolph Preston Rogers and Clara Mar Rogers; daughter, Beverly Jones; son, Larry Shane; brother, James Massey; sister, Susan Diane Proctor; brothers-in-law, James Edward Rogers, and Emory David Rogers. She is survived by her husband, Billy Rogers; son, Thomas Ray Proctor; two daughters, Jessica Bradshaw, and Teresa Fox; brothers, Everette Rogers, Elmer Rogers, Johnny Rogers, and Eddie Rogers; sisters, Joanie Renfro, and Sara Bevels; 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren; ex-husband, Melvin Lester Proctor. Celebration of life will be conducted on Wednesday, February 24th at Relevate Church with Reverend Lance Johnson officiating. Due to the ongoing national health crisis, face coverings must be properly worn by all those who plan to attend.
