C.M. Higgins

C.M. Higgins, age 83 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at his residence. C.M. was born on September 27, 1937 in Whitfield County, GA, son of the late Chester Higgins and Minnie Smith Higgins. In addition to his parents, C.M. was also preceded in death by: one son, Len Shadrick; and two brothers, Edward Higgins and John Higgins. He was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church and attended Calvary Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the City of Calhoun where he worked as caretaker for the city cemeteries for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. C.M. was loved and will be missed by many. C.M. is survived by: his wife, Mary Frances Smith Higgins of Calhoun, GA; three daughters, Charlotte Higgins of Calhoun, GA, Shelia Dyer and her husband Wayne of Chatsworth, GA, and Debra Shadrick of Calhoun, GA; three sons, Jerry Higgins and his wife Kathy of Calhoun, GA, Randy Higgins of Calhoun, GA, and David Shadrick and his wife Isabella of Calhoun, GA;...
