Carl LaVall Bennefield

Carl LaVall Bennefield, age 63 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at AdventHealth Gordon. Carl was born on January 14, 1957 in Cullman, AL, son of the late Elbert Dennis Bennefield and Millie Icy Allen Bennefield. In addition to his parents, Carl was also preceded in death by two brothers, Owen Bennefield and Danny Bennefield. Prior to his retirement, Carl was employed by North Georgia Paving Company. Carl is survived by: his son, Jesse Bennefield and his wife Kayla of Calhoun, GA; granddaughter, Brynleigh Lynn Bennefield of Calhoun, GA; the mother of Carl’s son, Ginger Floyd; brother, Dennis Bennefield and his wife Juanita of Wooddale, IL; his closest friend, JL Bell of Calhoun, GA; and several other relatives and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Carl will be held at a later date.
