Carolyn W. Tierce

Carolyn W. Tierce, age 82 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her residence. Carolyn was born on June 1, 1938 in Mississippi, daughter of the late Gordon Bernard Wilson and Margaret Velma Smith Wilson. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Tierce. Carolyn enjoyed the company of others and gardening. Carolyn is survived by: two sons, Bill Tierce and his wife Tootsie and Ray Tierce and his wife Darlene; daughter, Beth Jobe; sister, Jean Sharp and her husband Gary; four grandchildren, Andrew Tierce, Wilson Tierce, Olivia Tierce, and Jacy Breneman and her husband Justin; and two great-grandchildren, Makenzie Breneman and MaryKate Breneman. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are: Mark Dunn, Andrew Tierce, Justin Breneman, Wilson Tierce, Jeff Rampy, and Kevin Holsomback. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 12 PM until the funeral hour at 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
