Christine Karr Clark, age 78 of Calhoun, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Redmond Regional Hospital. Christine was born on February 12, 1940 to the late Ralph Karr and Mildred Bunch Karr in Keavy, Kentucky. She was a devoted member of the Seven Day Adventist Church. Christine was a Licensed Practical Nurse and retired from Calhoun Healthcare. She had a loving heart and assisted many needy people in the community. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a son, Ray Howard; brothers, Bud Karr and Randy Karr; sister, Naomi Howard; grandchildren, Christie Howard and April Howard. She is survived by two sons, Rex Howard and Allen Howard; two daughters, Connie Dover and Michelle Dover; brothers, Mike Karr, Leland Karr, and Dale Karr; sisters, Barbara Wooten, Betty Bure, Wilma Fields, Sue Ham, Linda Frank, Florence Alsip, Shirley Alsip, and Roberta Johnson; grandchildren, Chastity Black, Josh Dover, Christopher Johnson, Amy Morrison, Rex Howard Jr., Anthony Dover, and Ashley Dover; great-grandchildren, Dylan Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Audrey Carrol, Kevin Morrison Jr., Briana Bennet, Travis Bennet, Kirk Johnson, Ansley Morisson, Kane Johnson, Christian Jordan, and Joshua Dover Jr.; great-great grandchild, Callum Beck Johnson and another on the way. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday December 29th at 4pm from the Calhoun Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Mark Piotrowski officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Sugar Valley United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, December 28 at the funeral home. Pallbearers serving are Kirk Johnson, Kane Johnson, Rex Howard, Jr., Anthony Dover, Glenn Wilson, Ricky Floyd, Jamie Dover, Rodney Dover, Toby Dover, David Gallagher, Brian Black, and Kevin Morrison.
