Clarence Jefferson Scott

Wednesday, September 19, 2007 Mr. Clarence J. Scott of Calhoun died Tuesday evening, September 18 at 8:15 PM at his residence. Clarence was born in Gordon County, April 21, 1927, son of the late Myrton Scott and Tennie Boswell Scott. He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. Clarence is survived by his wife, Joyce Sutton Scott of Calhoun; one son Jeffrey Scott and his wife, Julie of Nashville, Tennessee; two daughters, Rhodna Holbrook and her husband Mitchell, Angie Hall and her husband Ron all of Calhoun; two brothers, Wilburn Scott and Wafford Scott of the Scottsville Community; one sister, Corrine Scoggins of Shannon; four grandchildren, Jamon Hall, Ashley Rainey, Brittany Morrison, and Adrienne Scott; three great grandchildren, Rubin Hall, Sebastain Hall and Abigail Rainey. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday September 20th at 7PM in Fain Cemetery with Minister Terry York officiating. Friends may call between 10AM and 5PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
