Clifford Parker

Clifford Parker, age 87 of Oakman, GA, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at AdventHealth Gordon.

Clifford was born on February 23, 1935 in Murray County, GA, son of the late Haywood Parker and Irene McClure Parker. In addition to his parents, Clifford was also preceded in death by: his wife, Shelba Jean White Parker; two grandsons, Jonathan Cagle and Corey Cagle; and a number of brothers and sisters. He was a member of Fairview Church of God of the Oakman Community. Clifford loved the outdoors, gardening and farming.

Clifford is survived by one son, Jeff Parker and his wife Tammie; one daughter, Gail Parker Young and her husband Raymond; one brother, Clyde Parker and his wife Juanita; three sisters, Lucile Blaylock, Gladys Scott and  one sister, Polly Bishop and her husband Arvil;; three Kyle Demi Parker, Kevin Adriel Parker and Jennifer Cagle; and seven great-grandchildren, Paxton Parker, Riley Parker, Malia Parker, Phillip Seamean, Macey Seamean, Jonas Charles and Gracie Charles.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Jody Cagle and Reverend Lynn Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers serving are: Raymond Young, Kyle Parker, Kevin Parker, Chris Ratcliff, Bill Farist and Marshall Chastain.
