Cody Lamar Baker

Cody Lamar Baker, age 38, of Ranger, passed away Wednesday, August 19th at his residence.

Cody was born April 15, 1988, in Gordon County, the son of Steven Baker and Sharon Fain Baker. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and going to outdoor concerts. Cody was also an accomplished musician, who playing both the drums and mandolin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyler Baker, and his grandparents, Rev. Jack Baker, Toy Crump, Robert and Elsie Fain.

He is survived by his parents, Steven and Sharon Baker, his sister, April May, and two nieces whom he adored, Lilly and Briley May.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 22nd at 1pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. David Peeler officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Chapel Cemetery with Darren Fowler, Paul-Erik Bakland, Brian Parker. Mitchell Miner, Preston Fain, and Nick Kuglar serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 22nd from 11am until 1pm prior to the service.
