Dale S. Nielsen

Tuesday, December 26, 2006 Mr. Dale S. Nielsen, age 52, of 201 Cherry Hill Drive, Calhoun, died Saturday December 23rd., in Catersville, Ga. following a motorcycle accident. Dale was born in Duluth, Minnesota, on March 14, 1954 son of Robert G. and Betty Stewart Nielsen. He was a devoted husband and grandfather, was a member of the Calhoun First United Methodist Church and was owner and operator of Signature Funishing . Dale was preceded in death by a brother; David Nielsen. Survivors include his wife Kathy Faith Nielsen of Calhoun, his Parents; Robert G. and Betty S. Nielsen of Calhoun., two sons; Matt Nielsen of Calhoun and Ben Nielsen and his wife Erin of Washington, DC., one daughter and her husband; Rebekah and Marc Feuerbach of Calhoun, two sisters; Chris Elliott of Tyrone, Ga. and Pam Sands of Orlando , Fla, three grandchildren; Jake and Emma Nielsen and Will Feuerbach, and best friend Dr. Timothy and Paula Kaigler of Peachtree City, Ga. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday Dec. 28th. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. Brian Clark, Rev. Kenny Rogers and Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Andy Reid, James , Lee, and George Chapman, Alan Daniel, Tyron Black, Jimmy Knight and Ed Wenzler. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Signature Finishing, and all these gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 P.M. Thursday. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gina Daniel and Sherry Chapman will have charge of the music.
