David Wayne Holland

David Wayne Holland, age 54 of Calhoun passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence. David was born on June 27, 1964 in Gordon County, a son of the late Roy R. Holland, Sr. and Dorothy Ann Moore Holland. He also was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, Irene Bramblett, Roy Holland, Jr., Jack N. Holland, James D. Holland and Eva Lyles. David was formerly employed at Mohawk Industries and was of the Holiness Faith. He attended the Barrett Road Church of God. David is survived by four brothers, Walter Douglas Holland and his wife, Elizabeth of Ranger, Vernon Lee Holland and his wife Faye of Calhoun, Richard Earl Holland and his wife Clara of Tilton, John William Holland and his wife Joyce of Summerville; five sisters, Sara Jane Lau and her husband Mike of Calhoun, Carol Dean Thomas and her husband Lynn of Calhoun, Bonnie Oliver and her husband, Sammy of Calhoun, Shirley Odom and her husband Charles of Calhoun, and Beulah Mae Stanley of Calhoun; sister-in-law, Reba Holland; brother-in-law, Roy Lyles and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Norris Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with Richard Holland, Raymond Holland, Randy Holland, Johnny Patton, Jeremy Jones, and Brian Jackson serving as pallbearers.
