Mr. David Lamar “Rooster” Ingle, age 70 of Dalton, Ga., passed away on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, at Hamilton Medical Center.
Mr. Ingle was born in Gordon County on August 10th, 1954, a son of the late Roy Ingle and the late Kathryn Long Serritt. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Deana Dean; maternal grandparents, Hughs and Bessie Long; and by his grandparents, Levi and Viola Ingle, who raised him. He loved NASCAR and spending time with his friends. Mr. Ingle was a retired truck driver and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his uncle, Hubert Long, and several other family members
A Graveside service will be held at Casey Springs Cemetery on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, at 11 AM with Dudley Meadows officiating. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include, James Painter, Jeff Defoor, Treg Hardson, Wayne Chastain, and Brent Hollingsworth. Honorary pallbearers include Greg Harris, Danny Brendle, and Tony Prevette.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th, from 10 AM until 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
