David Hamilton Nation, age 50 of Sugar Valley, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his residence. David was born on July 14, 1968 in Gordon County, GA to Sandra Kay Nation and the late Ted Lavern Nation. In addition to his father, David is also preceded in death by: his grandparents, Willie Mae Delatorre, Q.H. “Doc” Nation, Martha Smith and Rex Smith; and his son, Jonathan Nation. David is survived by: his mother, Sandra Kay Nation of Calhoun; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 10th at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Maddox officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 AM until the service hour at 11 AM at Thomas Funeral Home.
