Mr. Donal Cline Crump, age 94 of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living.
Mr. Crump was born in Gordon County on November 18th, 1931, a son of the late Martin Monroe Crump and the late Virginia Lenora Sisson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Lora Bell Crump; brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Glynese Crump; one sister, Vera Barton. For many years, he worked as a supervisor at Lockheed Martin until his retirement. He proudly served more than 30 years in the Georgia National Guard, a reflection of his deep sense of duty, patriotism, and commitment to others. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he was a devoted member of Heritage Baptist Church. He was also a dedicated Mason for over 60 years and a proud member of the Resaca Masonic Lodge. To those who knew him best, however, his greatest titles were husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He often said his three greatest loves were “his Jesus, his wife, and his family”.
Survivors include his two daughters, Gina Mealor (Bill Michaud) and Jennifer Hooper (Jason); three grandchildren, Bart DeFoor (Daniella), Kelby Holbrook (Stephanie), and Raleigh Hooper; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Kayla DeFoor; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 8th, 2026 at 4 PM at Heritage Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Parrott officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include Bart DeFoor, Kelby Holbrook, Jason Hooper, Bill Michaud, Jeff Gilbert, and Jeff Jones
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 8th from 2 PM until 4 PM at Heritage Baptist Church.
